Terms and conditions

At Adelaide Creative Cakes, every cake is individually designed and handcrafted for your celebration. These Terms & Conditions are intended to keep the booking process clear and ensure the best possible experience from enquiry through to collection or delivery.

Bookings & Payment

A minimum of 21 days’ notice is preferred for custom cake orders.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking and reserve your event date.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.

Orders placed within 21 days of the event require full payment to confirm the booking.

Your date is not considered secured until the required payment has been received.

Custom Design

Each cake is created specifically for your celebration. Inspiration photos are welcome and help us understand your preferred style, colours and overall vision.

While we will work closely with you to achieve the agreed design, handmade elements may naturally vary slightly from reference images.

Colours may also appear differently depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.

Any requested changes after confirmation are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Changes requested close to the event date may not be possible.

Flavours & Tastings

Cake flavours and available options will be confirmed during the enquiry and booking process.

Tasting boxes may be available by arrangement. Available flavours, pricing and collection details will be confirmed at the time of enquiry.

Collection & Delivery

Collection is available by appointment, with collection details provided once your booking is confirmed.

Delivery may also be available depending on the location, date and event requirements and may incur an additional fee.

Customers collecting their cake are responsible for ensuring it is transported safely on a flat, stable surface in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Once a cake has been collected or delivered and accepted, Adelaide Creative Cakes cannot be responsible for damage caused by incorrect handling, transportation, storage or environmental conditions.

Storage & Serving

Storage instructions will be provided where required.

Cakes should be kept away from direct sunlight, heat and excessive moist

For the best quality and freshness, we recommend following the storage and serving instructions provided with your order.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please advise us of any allergies or dietary requirements when making your enquiry.

While reasonable care is taken during preparation, Adelaide Creative Cakes works with ingredients that may include gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts and other allergens.

Cancellations

The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable if you cancel your order due to a change of mind or change in personal circumstances.

If you need to cancel or change your event date, please contact us as soon as possible.

Any amounts paid beyond the deposit will be considered based on the timing of the cancellation and the work, ingredients or custom items already committed to your order.

Date changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Changes to Your Event

If your event date, venue, serving requirements or other important details change, please notify us as soon as possible.

Changes may result in additional charges where extra work, ingredients, delivery or design alterations are required.
